Letter to the MP
Dear Richard Brunton
It has come to my attention that you have decided to kick reading out of the school curriculum. Reading is important and should be kept as a top priority. All the authors who would write children's books would destroyed

. Publishers
. Editors
All would lose their jobs, Even the most famous writers like J.K rowing would lose their jobs. A survey in 2016 said that almost 400,000 New Zealand adults could not read. That was when reading was a standard subject ,Think of the consequences that would happen if reading was no longer taught. This banning is a public ignominy, and should be cancelled before more serious actions happen, That no one could read or write. Why? why would you ban such a well used subject. I hope you consider what you are doing are choose to make amends
